Enjoy a "Daylight Canoe Excursion" to Chicken Key from 8:00 am - 11:00 am, Sunday, May 28. Join Deering Estate Naturalists for a canoe tour on Biscayne Bay and explore the historic island, Chicken Key. Take off from a historic boat basin and arrive to a 6 acre natural quartz, sand island and restored bird rookery. The program is designed for beginners and experts alike. Excursions are weather-dependent. Fees are $25 for adults, $15 for children 9-14. Space is limited and reservations are required. Call 305-235-1668, Ext. 242.
