Full Description:
You are invited to the kick-off Toastmasters meeting for a new club in the neighborhood.
The meeting starts at 7pm, Thursday Aug. 31st, at Tony Roma's restaurant, 18851 S. Dixie Hwy.
Toastmasters is a safe place for people to progress at their own pace while they learn how to speak in public. This is accomplished in a supportive environment where people follow a detailed program and help one another.
Expect the meeting to last an hour. There will be a sample Mini Toastmaster Meeting in order to show what goes on at one of our regular meetings.
We will have the following functions:
Sargeant of Arms;
Toastmaster;
General Evaluator;
Topic Master;
Speaker;
Evaluator;
Grammarian;
Jokemaster;
Quotemaster;
Teller;
Timer;
Er-Ah Counter.
