We are extremely fortunate to have Captain Michael Mouring as the first Village Commander for the Village of Palmetto Bay/Miami Dade Police Department. Commander Mouring has a Bachelors Degree from Barry University and a Masters Degree in Public Administration from the University of Miami. He has also attended the Federal Bureau of Investigation National Academy and the Miami Dade Police Department Executive Development Institute. He is a member of the International Association of Chiefs of Police and the National Sheriffs Association.
